1930s Gillette New Long Comb Three Piece Razor, 1930s Gillette New Long Comb Three Piece Razor.”The New” Bar Handle Long Comb 3-Piece Double Edge Safety Razor, Reissue Patent 17567, Made In USA, 1930s. This is one of the most popular Gillette razors within the wet shaving community.

The razor itself is in Very Good Condition with No Rust, Corrosion or Pitting (see pictures). There are No bent teeth or cracks in the handle. All three pieces tightened down as they should to hold the blade in place, drop in a favorite blade and you’re on your way, this razor is Shave Ready.

That is a 3 Piece Gillette Safety Razor, the razor is an Open Long Comb Style, Gold Tone in color and measures 3 1/4″ in length from the top of the handle to the bottom of the razor. This great Gillette razor is pre-owned with a small amount of wear. Also included is a NOS (new old stock) Still Angle Double Edge Razor Blade still in the original envelope and never been opened.

1961 Gillette Fat Boy Razor Refurbished Replated Platinum G1. This vintage razor is in Refurbished Platinum Re-Plated Condition. The twist action to open the butterfly doors is crisp as well as the turning of the numbered collar to adjust the shave as each number clicks. The razor is clean and shiny, with No evidence of wear. It opens and shuts smoothly. The adjuster plate raises and lowers slightly as it should when you adjust the shave. The blade gap is even on both sides of the razor at all adjustments. Also included is a (New Old Stock) NOS ‘Still Angle’ razor blade still in the Original package.

As the pictures indicate, there is No Pitting, Brassing or Corrosion. You Will Notice from the Pictures That the Blade Plate and the inside of the Razor Bay Has Been Replated Differently Than the Rest of the Razor, What You See Is Not Pitting It Is Replated Platinum Satin, Just to Give the razor a Different Look!

The black paint on the numbers is in Fantastic Condition. This great collectible razor was completely disassembled, fully cleaned or repaired inside and out, re-plated and then reassembled. This razor design is tried and true and is both a work horse and a show horse. The razor has been cleaned, polished, sanitized, and is ready to use. The official name of this razor is the Gillette Executive Adjustable Razor, Executive Fatboy for short. The Executive Fatboy razor is very similar to the Standard Fatboy except that it is plated in Gold and the knurling on the handle and twist-to-open knob is different (it is horizontal as opposed to crisscross on the Standard Fatboy). A later Executive Fatboy (D3) has been found with crisscross knurling on the gold plated TTO knob while retaining the horizontal knurling on the handle. This may have been a case of Standard Fatboy TTO knobs being used to build Executives in production. The adjustment dial has nine positions, starts at “1” and terminates at “9” (the most aggressive setting).

This Gillette Executive is Re-Plated in 24 Carat Gold and weighs 79 grams. The Razor Is Clean and Shiny, it opens and closes smoothly, everything mechanical on this razor works 100%. The adjuster plate raises and lowers as you twist the adjusting knob as it should when you adjust the shave. This is a 1920s Gillette ‘Old Type’ Refurbished Re-Plated Safety Razor W Blade, it is in Refurbished Re-Plated Condition, with a New Handle. There are no stress fractures in the handle all parts are tight and hold the blade properly in place. There are No bent teeth. On the underside of the head there is the inscription “Made in the USA” and the diamond logo of Gillette. For being close to 100 years old this razor looks Fantastic.

This 1921 Gillette Big Fellow Refurbished Re-Plated Rhodium Razor has been Completely Refurbished and Re-Plated! The teeth of the open tooth comb blade guard have withstood the test of time wonderfully with NO breaks at all or bends. The razor has a serial number of 297778A, indicating 1921. The weight of the razor is 78g.

The handle has 2 Absolutely Miniscule stress fractures at the top of the handle, approximately 1/32 to 1/16 inch, so small I can’t see them without a magnifying glass and I can’t get a picture of them. This is a big problem with hollow handle Gillette’s, it happens when you crank down on the head, Tighten the head down just until it stops. All three pieces fit precisely as they should and lock down properly. All Original Gillette manufactured. This is one of the best Gillette Big Fellows’ that I’ve seen in a long time, It is a must have for a Gillette enthusiast and is Absolutely shave ready.

This Beautiful Big Fellow Is Essentially a Brand-New Razor!

The Beautiful Maple Case Is in Fantastic Condition As You Can See in the Pictures. There Are No Scratches or Noticeable Wear on the outside of the Case, the inside of the Case Is Just As Good, There Is a Small Mark Where the Razor Sits, That’s All, Also Included Is a Newly Rhodium Plated Gillette Blade Bank.
